Natalia Nava-Urbina
VP of Academic Affairs

Major: Business Administration & Minor in Public Policy
Year: Junior
Hometown: Salinas, CA
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Email: ucb.academics.lbsa@gmail.com

As a first-generation Latinx student at Cal, every day I uphold my values and empower myself to move forward. I have learned to embrace risks and always uphold a sense of confidence in all my actions. This sense of confidence does not only come from an internal factor within me; it also comes from external factors like my family, friends, and mentors. They motivate and guide me every day.

As a child growing up in Salinas, CA, I fostered a spark of imagination illustrating that someday I would be a leader. That spark of imagination transformed into a reality over the years. What I once imagined, I now live. As a student at Cal, I am delighted to serve as a leader within the LBSA community, on the Berkeley campus, and in my hometown. Within LBSA, I serve as the Vice President of Academic Affairs. I am here to provide and help you find tools that can help you succeed as a student.  Do not be afraid to ask about anything; whether it be about preparing for a class, studying tips, or class recommendations.  Plus, we have a test bank to help you prepare.

Today is a great day to start taking steps that will help you get one step closer to your desired pathway. I believe in the power of making things happen; you decide where you want to go and who you want to become.

Reach out to me for support in your unique journey. Together we rise for a better future.
